HUNTING DOGS: Training Collars

A remote dog training collar can help in many ways when training pigdogs; correcting problem behaviours, stock and wildlife proofing, or convincing an enthusiastic holder to let go of the pig.
The modern day collars are vastly different from the original 'shock collars' and have safety features to prevent over correction, plus a range of correction levels to suit all temperaments and sizes from a cattle dog through to a Bandog. All trainers also feature a 'vibration' warning which can often replace the correction. When working with several dogs in the bush, 'vibration' is useful in alerting the desired dog without affecting the other dogs, or the game, as with a tone.
The standard collar straps fit a neck up to 58cm (23") which have fitted all of our largest dogs to date including Rottweilors, Brazilian Mastiff, Mastiff/Dane cross, Bull Arab/Dane cross.
